October 9, 2010 - How would you spend your second act?

How would you spend your second act? Enjoy the good life in a customized utopia or join the Peace Corps and work with under served communities in third world countries? Join The Babes as they explore it all with those individuals that have been there, done that, and are living the moment!

Andrew Blechman, best selling author of "Leisureville" joins The Babes and regales his time spent as a houseguest at The Villages, the world's largest senior utopia. Mr. Blechman's book created quite a stir among staff and residents! Adding their own take to life in The Villages are residents Marlene Marmo, a retired grandmother of three, and Chuck VanderRoest, retired professional pilot turned real estate agent whose mantra is "No time for retirement --life is great!"

Also joining The Babes is Barbara Joe who discusses her second act and living in "utopia" as a 60 year old Peace Corps Volunteer. Despite naysayers, including some who wondered if she was too old, and another who predicted that she’d be home by Christmas, Barbara Joe not only went off to Honduras and had the adventure of a lifetime, but extended her stay. Barbara chronicles it all in her award winning book "Triumph & Hope."

You won't want to miss a minute, so tune in and join the conversation!
