In this podiobook: Nestled deep in the heart of Pennsylvania is the small town of Hull's Landing. While it may seem like just an ordinary place, The Landing holds a secret so dark, that there are those who will do anything to protect it.For decades, young girls have been disappearing like clockwork. While some have their suspicions, the entire town lives in fear, and for good reason. When Rita Clemens, a former member of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, decides to make her new home in Hull's, she begins to uncover what the locals have tried to keep hidden for so long.As the race against time begins, Rita will have to do everything she can to protect herself, and to save a child's life, before one of the world's oldest evils can be unleashed.Hull's Landing is an original novella from the author of THE ZOMBIE CHRONICLES: ESCAPE, coming to bookstores everywhere in March 2011 from Permuted Press and Simon and Schuster.**ADVANCE PRAISE FOR ESCAPE**"This is the 1984 of zombie novels" - Scott Sigler, NYT Bestselling author of Infected, Contagious, and Ancestor."Just when you think you know where it's going, Melzer kicks you in the balls and turns everything on its head. ESCAPE will take you to the edge and leave you wanting more." - David Moody, author of HATER and the Autumn series."The title of this book is completely misleading - there is no escape from ESCAPE. James Melzer masterfully blurs the line between sci-fi and horror in this stellar debut. It's raucous, and gritty...and gripping. Keep the light on when you read this one." - J.C. Hutchins, author of Personal Effects: Dark Art and 7th Son: Descent.

"Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and of having nothing to do ..." .. and from that moment onward we drift with Alice into another world. When she sees a White Rabbit as it runs through the tall grass (looking worriedly at the watch it takes from its waist-coat pocket), she runs after it and drops into a strange dream. The world is full of chatty animals, from a rather stand-offish hookah-smoking caterpillar to the friendly Cheshire Cat which only sometimes goes to the bother of having a body. And everyone seems to be ordering her about ... or telling her to recite poetry! ... and all those verses that she once knew so well seem strangely distorted. In this book and in "Through the Looking Glass", Lewis Carroll affectionately brought together many of the wonderful stories he told to Alice and her sisters on long summer boating trips.

Remo Williams is the first white master of Sinanju, the most lethal of all martial arts. Trained to the point of superhuman perfection by the ancient master assassin Chiun, The Destroyer is a living weapon employed by the ultra-secret extra-governmental agency called CURE to right the wrongs no one else can. The series, while action based, has several elements of fantasy, science fiction, espionage and mystery (not necessarily all in the same novel). The main characteristic that sets The Destroyer series apart from other adventure series is the political and social satire in almost every novel. The series has lampooned almost every subject, including itself, over the years.

There are certain names which are familiar, as names, to all mankind; and every person who seeks for any degree of mental cultivation, feels desirous of informing himself of the leading outlines of their history, that he may know, in brief, what it was in their characters or their doings which has given them so widely-extended a fame. Consequently, great historical names alone are selected; and it has been the writer's aim to present the prominent and leading traits in their characters, and all the important events in their lives, in a bold and free manner, and yet in the plain and simple language which is so obviously required in works which aim at permanent and practical usefulness. This volume is dedicated to Richard I. (Summary from the preface of the book)
