Life doesn't always go as planned--at least not according to our plan. Things happen. Things beyond our immediate control. There are detours thrown up in our path that take us down dark, uneven roads. Unwanted circumstances that upset our cherished routines. A variety of people in the Bible had their lives interrupted. But what they discovered was that God had not abandoned them. Through all the twists and turns, the bumps and bruises, the darkness and the doubting, God was with them every step of the way. And, if they were open to it, that discovery made all the difference.
