Suspension of Disbelief heisst: die Aufhebung des Unglaubens oder auch das Ausserkraftsetzen von Zweifeln. Ein Begriff, der seinen Ursprung in der Kunst findet und sehr oft in Filmen angewendet wird. Wieviel Unmögliches verzeiht der Zuschauer dem Filmemacher? Jedes Mal, wenn etwas Unglaubliches über die Leinwand flimmert und der Zuschauer es annehmen kann, dann hat “Suspension of Disbelief” statt gefunden.

Der Kurzfilm erzählt die Geschichte von Telly Sanders, einem 31-jährigen Amerikaner. Er ist schwer verliebt in Valerie, ein wunderschönes Mädchen. Die beiden scheinen das perfekte Paar zu sein. Als jedoch Telly’s langjähriger Jugendfreund Sam in deren Leben tritt, scheint die innige Liebe aus der Bahn geworfen zu werden.

Telly musste als kleiner Junge zuschauen, wie seine Mutter fremdging und war machtlos. Die darauf folgende Scheidung seiner Eltern hat ihn zutiefst geprägt; seine Mutter verliess die Familie und kam nie wieder zurück.

Es sieht so aus, als ob ihn die Vergangenheitserlebnisse einholen und er diese neu durchleben muss. Telly erwischt Valerie und Sam im Café, beim Nachhausekommen und später sogar im Bett. Anstatt die beiden sofort zu stellen, entscheidet er sich zu warten. Jedoch zu lange.

Irgendwann wird es ihm zuviel und er dreht durch. Blind und verrückt vor Eifersucht entführt er Sam, um diesen zu stellen. Telly will wissen, warum Sam ihm so etwas antun will. Dieser schweigt jedoch und geht anfangs auf Telly’s Drohungen nicht ein. Mit dem wachsenden Druck gesteht er, Val gekannt zu haben und dass er und Val für eine Zeit lang sogar ein Paar gewesen sind.

But, as her group of friends drop dress sizes, their real issues are exposed, and better-than-expected life changes begin to blossom. In the end she goes as Belinda Apple and reveals that Nola Devlin is in fact Belinda Apple. In the end Nola's dream car is leaving she took off her heels and one of the heels went into Chip's hand. Chip puts on Nola's heel and they kiss at midnight as the Cinderella storyline nears its end. Finally her book, called The Cinderella Pact, is released with Nola Devlin as the author. Getting Played is a 2005 television film directed by David Silberg, starring Vivica A. Fox, Bill Bellamy, Carmen Electra, and Stacey Dash. The film is about three beautiful women, who decide, on a bet, to select and seduce a total stranger. The film centers around three very attractive women who, after having many guy troubles themselves, decide to play a prank on a random man. Their goal is to seduce the man while catching the whole sequence on tape and ultimately humiliating him with the footage. Their plan runs into some snags, as the man they choose to prank knows what they are trying to do to him.
The man then has sex with Vivica A. Fox and Carmen Electra's characters while they video tape the intercourse's, only for him to change both tapes. He then goes on a date with Stacey Dash's character only to fall in love with her after finding that they both have a lot in common and they "look good together". In the end, they admit everything to each other, and after five minutes of begging, disturbing a couple eating dinner who they think that they are on a hidden camera show, decide to forgive each other and start out clean and honest. The Devil arranges for a deceased gangster to return to Earth as a well-respected judge to make up for his previous life. Gangster Eddie Kagel is killed by a trusted lieutenant and finds himself in Harry Redmond Jr's special-effects Hell, where Nick/The Devil sees that he is an-exact double for a judge who Nick doesn't approve of. Eddie is agreeable to having his soul transferred to the judge's body, as it will give him a chance to avenge himself on his killer. But every action taken by Eddie (as the judge) results in good rather than evil and, to Nick's dismay, the reputation and influence of the judge is enhanced, rather than impaired by Eddie. And Eddie also falls in love with the judge's fiancée, Barbara. Even Eddie's planned revenge fails and Nick is forced to concede defeat.
