My objectives are to promote conversation about democracy. I do that by asking three main questions and dozens of secondary questions. The main questions are:
1. What's so good about democracy; what's it supposed to deliver that other forms of government don't deliver?
2.How democratic are we as a nation? Give us a report card.
3.How could we do better?
I ask these questions of politicians, professors, business people, union members, the unemployed â anybody and everybody who has an opinion. Their answers are the primary content of this podcast.
