I’ve been a pilot for a major U.S. Carrier since 1989. Before that I flew A-10s for the Air Force. I was stationed at RAF Bentwaters in the UK, and then at McClellan AFB in California. I left the Air Force and then we won the cold war. I think it was just a coincidence

Our vision is to unite women and impact lives in our homes, families, business and cultures.
We believe in ministering to women, one woman at a time.
Our goal is to encourage and lift up every woman. Our greatest desire is to empower women to be all that they can be in Christ Jesus.
Some of the subjects we discuss are almost to delicate to handle, others are controversial but to those who earnestly seek answers, this ministry will be enlightening.

In these tals we are reminded that we must obey Allah both in command AND prohibition. The first commands to obey must be the five pillars of Islam. The main thing to avoid is Usury.riba, as Allah tells us that both He and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bles him and grant him peace, have declared war upon it.
Who then, can argue that these should not be the priority of any Muslim activist or person in authority

Veterans Chronicles is an hour-long program that tells the stories of America's greatest heroes in their own words.
Featuring interviews with eyewitnesses to the great, and tragic, moments in military history. From D-Day to Iwo Jima, Khe Sanh to the "Hanoi Hilton", Baghdad to Fallujah, the liberation of Grenada to the liberation of Afghanistan; Veterans Chronicles is history told from the perspective of those who were there.
Included in each show are archival recordings, which take listeners back to a time when heroes were made. The program also includes short features, including "Heroes of the Air," "World War II Chronicles," and "Vox Pop."
The host of Veteran's Chronicles, Gene Pell, has spent much of the last half-century as an award winning broadcast journalist. Mexican American journalist John Phillip Santos reads his lyrical and loving memoir that explores his family's history in magnificent prose touched with the singing cadences of his Spanish-language heritage yet vibrant with the energy of American English. It's a combination utterly suited to his native San Antonio, where "las viejitas" -- the little old ladies of the Garcia and Santos families -- ruled over their children and grandchildren with the toughness and grandeur of the Mexico they left during the revolution of 1914. "Poised between those ancient Indio origins from the south ... and our Mestizo future in the north," these new Texans made Mexico live for their descendants in the magical stories and folkloric practices of an older culture. Yet there was also a sense of secrets kept and cherished possessions left behind, of people who had traveled far and traveled light. The "wind of story" was also "a wind of forgetting," and as Santos probes his heritage, he comes to understand that "it is okay to move on and forget." Nonetheless, this is a book that restores to memory the drama not just of a single family but of an entire people whose past is more closely entwined with that of the United States than some Americans care to remember. Santos depicts them with care and dignity.
