In a series of four hour long interviews with Tom McGurk, which spans Cronin's life and writing, Cronin recalls the colourful characters he knew and discusses the ideas and beliefs that drove him to become one of the main architects of some of the most innovative and influential artistic and cultural policies and institutions in the modern Irish state. The programmes are illustrated with archive recordings of some of the many voices that are part of the fascinating world which Anthony Cronin inhabits and enriches.
