Marooners' Talk is the podcast hosted by Marooners' Rock. One of our writers thought this was a terribly clever name for the podcast, and I'm sure he's very proud of himself.

Piano improvisations by Curt Siffert. More an exploration of the creative process than a guarantee of finished, polished works. Unless otherwise noted, each piece is made up on the spot. Send Curt an evocative phrase (like the improvisation titles) through the website and a future improvisation might be based off of it. Visit http://curtsiffert.com/ for more music. From the successful North-East of England club night By Royal Appointment aka B.R.A. collate an innovative new mix series called Death Techno and coming soon Life Techno.
“After receiving many plaudits in DJMag, Mixmag and local newspapers, I decided to end our club event B.R.A. after 2.5 years. After a little break, I felt a progression was necessary but I still wanted to be DJ’ing and promoting good underground music as there was so much more I wanted to achieve. The idea of a podcast came up in early 2009 and was always on my to-do list, wishing to create a fresh brand that’s true to the style music I like to mix. All responses to Death Techno mixes so far have been super supportive and it’s quickly reaching a worldwide audience.
I really hope people enjoy listening to the mixes as well as discovering new music as much as I do and go out of their way to be involved in something I’m working extremely hard on with forward thinking ideas.
Death Techno will bring you quality underground mixes from all corners of the globe by hand picked DJs to established producers that have been personally asked to create a Dark/Deep – Minimal/Techno mix or have been selected specifically for their style and quality.
You can subscribe in the iTunes Store or follow the SoundCloud page. Also, keep an ear to the ground for the Special Mix Series too which will only be published on our Soundcloud.
Thanks for your time, enjoy the music, check out the mp3 archive and feel free to get in touch.”

Extremely uplifting funky house music!
From vocal funky house to more banging toonz, the common denominator in what I like is a melody, a strong bassline and (quite often) great vocals by desperate housedivas :)
I love to dig out for new good stuff anywhere I can find it and deliver it to you before anyone else!
I believe the mixes I make can be enjoyed anywhere in the world and that's the rationale behind my podcast.
Thanks for giving my music a try, you might just love it! If it's the case, sign up as a fan to know when new mixes are added...
You can also comment and give your honest opinion :)
And don't forget to tell your friends!
Love, Christian.
